Hi, everyone!

I took a pause from writing during the past week to work on a better reading experience. Since I’ve switched to a pay-only newsletter this year I’ve decided to consolidate the Wednesday and Sunday editions into one, delivered on Sunday mornings Pacific time.

My ambition with Fewer Better Things is to inspire anyone who wants to reconquer and refocus their time, money, and attention on the meaningful and mindful primarily for oneself but also for humanity and planet. By switching to one edition per week I can refocus my attention, creativity, and energy on a better Sunday newsletter.


Facebook had a big week and lost 27 percent or $242 billion dollars in market cap during the last two trading days. Management pointed fingers at everyone but themselves. The company is now down 37 percent or 398 billion dollars since the all-time high in early September last year when it was valued to a little over a trillion dollars. Let’s spell that out: $400,000,000,000 dollars gone like that - poof.
