The Beatles released the song “Tomorrow Never Knows” a few days before I was born. It changed their minds, their relationships, and their music.

It was the end of the beginning and the beginning of the end. It was the journey that was going to break them up but also make them whole again.

It’s one of my favorite songs, reminding me that the only thing we can control is the now; how we show up, what we do, and what we create today.

“Turn off your mind
Relax and float down stream
It is not dying
It is not dying”

We all have the same daily hours available and we all have the same challenges to stay focused and harness our creative energy.

Our success, in whatever way we choose to define, is dependent on our intentions and commitments to ourselves and our daily schedule.

This year I decided to create three simplified intentions that I live by every single day:

  1. Growing deeper relationships

  2. Improving wellbeing and fitness

  3. Creating positive impact

They have my full attention in an unfocused world. They are my structure when the storms are rolling in, and they are the line I draw in the sand when I get distracted or pulled in different directions.

They have become the very fabric of my being and what I do every single day, including weekends. I am them and they are me.

From these intentions I’ve designed a daily schedule divided into three parts:
