Wisdom is knowing why and when to use your knowledge. Knowledge is knowing how things work, from fixing a broken vacuum pump in your car to trading cryptocurrencies and designing space rockets.

Knowledge needs experience to turn to wisdom and wisdom needs a network to spread. In the past those networks were the church, the university, and corporations. Today they are the internet.

Painfully simple, yet we tend to fuck that up by voluntarily allowing our brains being hacked to focus our time, attention, and creative energy on the superfluous while we should really focus on growing wisdom.
